Alter Clothes Pins for Valentine's Day Magnets

Hi Friends. Happy New Year. I got a lil crafty this weekend.

I didn't take many pics, but before I altered these clothes pins I painted with some red water color paints. While I was modge podging the paper to the pin I added some tinsel glitter. I didn't have any chunky glitter....it would have worked too.

The hearts are chipboard pieces from last year's leftover stash.

Personalized Hurricane Lamps

Hi there crafty friends...I wanted to drop in with a post. You may have seen this on FB...so just skip if you're seeing it double...LOL.

 

 

I got this idea from Joy at Joy's Life. Here is her tutorial Hurricane Lamps from Dollar Store Glass. Like her, I got the top piece and the candle stick holder from the Dollar Tree. After removing the labels with some Goo gone type solvent and cleaning the pieces...I glued the top to the bottom with some E6000 glue (you can get at Walmart or any craft store).

 

Then I personalized as a gifts for alot of my family members. This is only one example.

 

I used Expressions Vinyl for the vinyl. The cuts are from DonJuan and Cutting Up cricut carts. The ribbon is My Craft Spot.

Another pretty Christmas card

Here is another Christmas card for an order that I filled.

The stamp is from Micheals, the ink is Tim Holtz Walnut Stain, the Designer Paper is Stampin' Up. The rhinestones are SU. I used Stampin' Up Apothecary Dies to cut the shape. Used Stampin' Up dimensionals to give the top layer more umph.

I've been super busy making cards and projects for custom orders. Sorry I haven't been posting much. Blog kinda gets neglected at holidays, huh?

Anyway....here is a card that you might've already seeing on FB (if we're FB friends), but I thought I would post it here for those of you not on FB. If you're on FB, find me, can always use another crafty friend.

Echo Park paper, Manger Stamp from Micheals, white embossing powder, outer sentiment from last year's My Craft Spot, inner sentment Stampin' Up. Cut the border with a MS border punch.

Made a set with it..

 

The PP is Stampin' Up. Though you can't see it, I dry embossed music notes on the paper. I heat embossed with Jingle All The Way...which is a retired SU stamp.

Christmas Poinsettia Card Sets

Hopping in with a couple of card sets that I made.

 

Used Stampin' Up Christmas Card Stock and Greeting on inside. Flower cut from Flower Shoppe cart. Used monochromatic marker to create veins in flower. Used SU die to cut sentiment background.
