Fantabulous Cricut "Save the Earth" Crawl

Welcome to the 7th Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a Blog Hop!

In honor of our Home Planet, Mother Earth, we're having a "Save the Earth" Crawl...each Design Team member will be featuring an original Upcycled-Themed Project that includes at least one Reuseable/Recycled Item along with at least ONE Cricut Cut.

If you've come from visiting Amy "The Redheaded Crafter", you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Save the Earth" project at FCCB!

For my project...first off you have to laugh...

I took a picture (or at least I thought) of the before box I used. LOL. Turns out I didn't! Anyway...if you could imagine a box that lifesavers came in to begin with... then I upcycled into a card gift set box...

The cut is from Lovely Floral cart at 4 1/4".

Now it's your turn! Let's see your Upcycled-Themed projects! Make sure to include a Cricut Cut somewhere on your project!

Next stop...Cindy "Cindy's Scraptastic Design". Go see what she has in store for you today... And when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!

Happy Crawling!

Which Disney Princess Am I Blog Hop

Welcome to the Which Disney Princess Am I Blog Hop! Hosted by the fabulous Ms. Lynne of Her Craftiness .

Ms. Lynne will be offering blog candy --- your very own Princess Crown and a Piecing Project of your favorite Princess by remarking on each stop on the royal kingdoms along the way!!!

Now for my project...thus my dilema

I almost dropped out of this hop when I began my project. I am NOT good at these Disney cuts. I cannot get the fine details to look like anything.

I did not want to disgrace the hop with my poor project. There are MANY talented ladies in this hop.

However, I decided that I would post my card and ask for your help. How do you people cut these Princess cuts? Ariel's eyes look HORRID!!!

Ariel was cut from Dreams Come True cart at 4 1/2". The paper was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The stickers and ribbon are from my stash.

Thanks for suffering through today's card. LOL. Thanks for your help.

And for your pain and suffering....

The FABULOUS Ms. Nikki of Paper Piecings by Nikki has graciously offered up a $25 gift certificate to her online store. YAY!!!!

How do you win?
1. Kindly be a follower of my blog.
2. Leave a comment with your contact info on this post.
3.Check back on Winner Tuesday, May 1st, and see who Mr. Random Number Generator chooses as the winner!

Now get to hopping....and see some really good cards ;0)

Bottlecaps - So cool!

Is it already Tuesday? Here's a lil cute project I whipped up yesterday in no time at all!!!

My baby loves Justin Bieber...awe heck don't we all?! LOL

So here is another pop icon item (I did not purchase for an inflated price ;0)

I used the bottlecaps and epoxy stickers that I got at HL. I printed a pic of JB using Microsoft Pic Manager in the smallest versions. Then I used a perfectly fitting 1" punch to punch out JB. Then easy peasy place the pic in the cap and pop on the epoxy sticker over him.

You do not have to use the epoxy stickers. You can use Glossy
Accents over the pic. There is absolutely no wait time with the stickers (if you're impatient, like me ;0)

I got these super cuties at The Children's Place with their great 2 for $6 deal. They're great by themselves.

But look how super duper cute they are after a bottle cap and some purple 3GJ ribbon!!!! The black ribbon is from Wal-mart.

YAY! My baby thought they were AWESOME! She had to wear them to school today.  Hee hee.

Hope you like 'em. I will be doing more bottlecap projects...they're too EASY, I love 'em.

Be blessed, Beckie
