Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #85

FANTABULOUS CRICUT CHALLENGE #85 

Hi Friends. Welcome to all my new friends. We had a great Christmas banner hop this weekend. The children at the Pediatric Specialty Facility in PA will be ecstatic when they receive all those great works.

I'm super excited because today is my first Fabtabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Design Team post! YAY! The DT was asked to make a project with a book on it somehow.

I decided it would be a nice time to get ahead on some Christmas gifts, so I made my daughter's teacher a cute lil mini-note set.

This super cute lil digi is free at Operation Write Home. They do a great service collecting handmade cards and sending them to overseas troops for them to use to connect with family members states side.

This is the inside. I hand stamped each letter with my Studio G mini-alphabet stamps. I cut the cute mailbox from Doodlecharms at 1". I stitched the mailbox with my gel roll pen. I think it make a really cute set.

So here is my take...

The papers are from a Cricut paper birthday pack and some standard purple cardstock. The ribbon is some awesome 3 Girl Jam . The buttons and twin are standard off the shelf brand. The stamp is one I got at Big Lots. I stamped it in Studio G purple ink.  

I made this card for my BFF since Junior High School. Her birthday is this week. I think she will like it. I was pretty pleased with the way it came together.

Here are the cuts up close...Everything is from Winter Frolic. The snowmen and the children are cut at 4". The backgrounds are a tag cut at 5 1/2". I used my Peachy Keen everyday assortment faces on most of the characters.I blinged stuff up with glossy accent, buttons, stickles and white gel-roll pen.

Pink, Blue and Green Challenge #1 for Made Especially 4 You

Great Tuesday morning to you!

Today starts the first of many challenges at Made Especially 4 You . The Design Team was put to the task of creating some inspiring projects. The challenge is to make a card or layout using the colors pink, blue and green.

Here is my card...

The white base is Walmart cardstock. The digi was a free one from Free Digital Stamps . The ribbon is some great crinkle ribbon I got from 3 Girl Jam . The patterned paper is from the Paper Studio Happy Hootin Holidays pack. I rounded the edges of the card with my X-acto corner rounder.

This super cute stamp is done in Studio G green ink and is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps . I blinged the teddy bear just a lil bit with some Studio G glitter glue. The stamp is not as crooked as I make it look in this picture, lol.
