Birthday card and cake accent

Hey Friends! It's a beautiful Sunday and my neck is feeling better. Whoo hoo! Unfortunately good enough to go back to work tomorrow :( Oh well, can't fund my addiction if I don't work, huh?

Here is a card I made to go with a set for a door prize at the upcoming baby shower. (Yesterday's card was one of that set, as well.) I also want to enter this card in this weeks sketch challenge at Card Patterns. It's sketch #133.

This next project is an accent to sit beside the cake at the baby shower. I wanted it to not be overshadowed by the awesome cake my friend Erin will make, but I didn't want it to be too much so everyone could enjoy her awesome decorating talent. I want to enter this into challenge #8 "Anything Goes" at Decorate to Celebrate.

Hope you like it all! Stop in again soon! Enjoy your Sunday.

Be Blessed, Beckie

  6. Hi Beckie!

I really like the concept of making a set of cards to use as a door prize at the shower, and this little lion ROARS "good times ahead." It's so cute!

The ruffles on the cake accent card make it pop. Are they made from paper or ribbon? Just wondering!

Hope you have a cheery day!

  9. Love all of this stuff that you're making for little 'ol me. Dial down the expectations for my cake, though. I still am not sure what I'm doing! It's next Friday's BIG project.
I love how these decorations are going to help make the shower atmosphere so beautiful. And now I'm wondering if I'm eligible for the door prize :)
    Thanks again.
