Christmas Card Blog Hop - Day 1

Great Saturday to all my crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by to see the 2 Day Christmas Card Blog Hop hosted by my friend Becka of Creations with Becka .

Becka is offering a Grand-Prize to one lucky hopper. In order to be qualified you gotta comment on all hops along the way.




So here is my card......








I used Winter Frolic and Create-a-Critter. The trees are cut at 4" and the turtle at 1".  I distressed the bottom part of the blue paper to join it to the white base. I blinged it all with MS tinsel glitter.



My daughter is mad at me because she says I should've used a penguin. She says turtles do not play in the snow. LOL. I said, I know. She went further to critic my card saying that trees do no wear hats. ;0)



She's a crafter in the making and she knows all...so in the future I will be consulting her before posting anymore cards that do not make sense. LOL.

    I have to say that really everyone uses a penguin and so i think your ADORABLE turtle is completely unique!!! I really love the trees too - i think that winter frolic is definitely going on my wish list!!

    I love the turtle on the card. No one ever puts a turtle on a Christmas card. The poor animals are neglected this time of year and it's nice to see someone giving them some love!

    All your cards are fantastic!! I think the turtle looks like he's enjoying playing in the snow, and the tree seems pretty darn happy to be wearing that hat (it's keeping his top warm with all the snow!).
