We Make a Great Pear Card

Today I'm sharing a card I made recently.

I used this week's CAS(E) This Sketch sketch.

 

 

 

I used some craft for the base. The pear is a siloutte cut file. The pearls and washi tape are from my stash. The twine is some more of my favorite Trendy Twine in Watermelon Taffy. The sentiment is a Yummy Pun of Joy's. I stamped it in Walnut Stain.

Happy Birthday Card

Here's a sweet lil birthday card I made and wanted to share.

I used this week's Seize the Birthday sketch.

 

 

 

 

I won this paper pack as some blog candy from Stephanie  at Whimsical Designs.

The fabby twine is Trendy Twine in Watermelon Taffy. The sweet ribbon is 3GJ in Gobblin Green. The sentiment is a fav from My Creative Time.

 

I used my Crop-a-dile to place a couple of eyelets so I could run the 3GJ and TT through. The sentiment is stamped in some Tim Holtz Distressed Ink ~ Worn Lipstick.

 

 

 

 

I stamped the sentiment again on the inside with the same ink.

Shabby Chic Baby Shower ~ Mason Jar Decor

Recently I was asked to do some shabby chic baby shower decorations. I had never done shabby chic :/ EEK! I was a lil bit intimidated, but up to the challenge.

Here is 1 of the decorations that I made for tables. Please excuse the pic. It was late at night and you can see (from the table behind) that the creative juices had exploded everywhere. haha.

 

I sprayed a mason jar with Valspar frosting spray paint. I then glued a dollar tree candle stick to the bottom of the jar with E6000...I learned this fantabulous trick from the oh-so-talented Joy of Joy's Life. I crafted a flower topper from some material scraps. Or you could get a flower topper....Pinque Peacock has some premade that are gorgeous ;) Then I decorated with some scrap lace and ribbon. VOILA.
