Thank You Cards are done! Whoo hoo!

Hey Everybody...well been working this evening on finishing up stuff for the baby shower this weekend. I finished the set of Thank You cards. A think a set of 10 should do nicely. I made a nice little stationary box to go with them. I found the tutorial on SplitCoast Crafters.

Also, there's a nice lil sign that is gonna go on the deserts table. My creative friend Erin is creating a "Craving Station"...you know like pregnancy cravings... I thought it was cute.

So here are the pics.  Hope you like 'em. Thanks so much for stopping by. I love friends and comments...can't get enough.

P.S. I made this "Thank You" paper. I learned it from my great friend at the Cardmonkey. I just printed it off from Microsoft Word. I just love the way it turned out.

Simply Christmas

If you will believe it, I have worked all stinking evening on this Christmas Card. I had all these ideas of how to do and what to use...well they all were terrible. I trashed it all but the ribbon and the base card. I got this digi from Free Digital Stamps. I think these lil adhesive, metallic hearts that I got at Big Lots just add the right touch. Even though it's (EXTREMELY) simple, I kinda think it's cute.

#5 of Card set

Welcome to Sunday...monday is only a blink away. Here is a birthday card I've made for the card set I'm so deeply involved in making (lol) for the famous baby shower door prize. Thanks for stopping by....come back soon.

The card is a tall card. I borrowed the inspiration for the layout from Kelly at Kelly's Crafts. She made a super cute halloween card that is very similar.

The presents are cut at 1" from Doodlecharms

I stayed away from the embossing, but I just had to use the stickles. Hee hee.

Here's the inside. I got this cute little stamp at Big Lots (and also this paper pack). This was my first effort at stamping, and you can see I need more practice. Oh well, gotta start somewhere, and I thought it was not too bad ;)

Happy Friday!

Hey Friends, so glad it's Friday! Whoo hoo! I got some awesome paper I couldn't wait to work with from K&Company. By now everyone should know I am making stuff for a baby shower my awesome friend Erin is throwing. In doing so, I'm making a card set as a door prize. Here is installment #4 of that set. I just loved this paper and I let it do the talking. The pictures so do not do it justice. Really girls this is some gorgeous paper.

Got the word art from Karen over at Paper Memories....got a linkie on my blog here. Go see her, all the word art is free. She's awesome! Three things I love - coupons, free stuff and blog comments...hee hee...and maybe not in that order. LOL.

I'm entering this at Crop Stop challenge #38: Let's Block it.

Thanks so much for stopping in! I wanted to say an extra special thanks to all my new friends from the link-up hosted by K. Andrews. I super loved that link-up. Got her linkie too, if ya wanna hop on over and check her out.

Here is my one and only Halloween card I have made thus far. LOL. I think it's cute though. I went a lil crazy with the stickles. It was my first stickling experience and my first stiching job. Ha ha. Hope you like it ;)

Christmas card

Happy Monday, I guess. Who likes Mondays anyway, right? LOL. Well onto the goods. Here is a card for Christmas that I made to go into the set I'm making for the baby shower. It's the first Christmas card I've made yet. I thought it turned out cute...even if the Nutcracker has a Red Cross appearance to him. The rhinestone eyes were cute I thought. My daughter thought to put those there. She's a crafter in the making ;)

I will be entering this card in the "Made It Myself Monday" challenge at You Had Me at Craft .

Thanks so very much for stopping by! I appreciate every visit.

Birthday card and cake accent

Hey Friends! It's a beautiful Sunday and my neck is feeling better. Whoo hoo! Unfortunately good enough to go back to work tomorrow :( Oh well, can't fund my addiction if I don't work, huh?

Here is a card I made to go with a set for a door prize at the upcoming baby shower. (Yesterday's card was one of that set, as well.) I also want to enter this card in this weeks sketch challenge at Card Patterns. It's sketch #133.

This next project is an accent to sit beside the cake at the baby shower. I wanted it to not be overshadowed by the awesome cake my friend Erin will make, but I didn't want it to be too much so everyone could enjoy her awesome decorating talent. I want to enter this into challenge #8 "Anything Goes" at Decorate to Celebrate.

Hope you like it all! Stop in again soon! Enjoy your Sunday.

I thought this digi stamp was so cute. I found her for FREE through Free Digital Stamps. I really like that blog. They offer several free links to take you to some awesome artists' blogs.

Blog Fever

Oh my goodness I have blog fever tonight... LOL.

I wanted to get this card into a couple of challenges. I want to enter into the "Happy Harvest" Challenge over at My Craft Spot and also in this week's sketch challenge at Card Patterns.

I can tell the photography is going to have to improve. Hope you enjoy! More cuts from DoodleCharms.

Love Bus

Happy Monday! Been working on this shaped card...couple of reasons...I made it for my husband for our anniversary, but ssshhh it's not for several days. We'll have 14 years of this thing called love. Also, because I want to enter it in the Shaped Card Challenge over at the Crafty Sprout.

I was inspired by a card I saw that Kimberly at My Craft Spot made with a truck. I call it my "Love Bus".

I used Doodlecharms to cut everything. In Cricut Design Studio I used the bus clip. I made a copy and flipped it. I welded the 2 together. This I cut from standard, white cardstock from Walmart. Then I cut another out of the base paper, which is from a Sunny Day's assorment pack called Planes and Trains. Then I cut the top cut out from another paper in the same pack.

I also used Doodlecharms for the hearts. I welded several together for the inside hearts and blinged them up with some glitter.

Hope you like it and your week started well.

Banner for Baby Shower

Hey Friends! What a beautiful Fall Saturday! It was a great day to go get your mums and decorate for the coming cooler weather.

Been finishing up a banner today. It's for a friend's baby shower. Hope you enjoy. I couldn't get great pics. I took 1 overall and then in stages.

It says "Sweet Peas". I wish I already had those Peachy Keen face stamps that I ordered. They would just be darling on those peas in the middle. The banner is really cute. The white doesn't show up well in the pics.

Altered Composition Notebooks and Many Thanks!!

I want to say a huge THANKS to all those who have visited and commented on my 1st posting. I am super psyched to be in company of such wonderful, fellow crafters! I'm still gonna be organizing my blog. I follow several talented women on their blogs, and I definitely want to get their links so I can share with everyone.

Today has been SUPER! All the lovely ladies with their comments and then I check the mail to find my stamp set, Happy Hauntings, from My Craft Spot have arrived! Whoo hoo! They couldn't get much better. I can't wait to get started with this cute, halloween set.

On to my projects...
Here are 2 altered composition notebooks that I've been working on. The first one is part of a 2-part gift that I am working on for my friend who is having twins. I thought she could jot down cute baby things in this notebook. I don't know if I am loving the paper I used for the "M," but I guess it works. Sorry about the lighting...it's dark outside and if I use the stupid flash...well you know what happens.

I did want to mention that from yesterday's post, the middle card, is a card that I made to send to the Breast Cancer Benefit Breakfast that a lady name Kathy is directing. She has emailed Robyn at My Pink Stamper and would love for people to make cards to send for the Breast Cancer Survivors to have at the Breakfast. Such a great cause!

I'm also working on a card for the a child in a hospital in PA. This is a project that Funky Cards and Card Monkey are hosting. I will be sure to post when I finish.

Thanks again for your amazing support ladies!!!! Be blessed.
