Grateful for You card

Started using my Stampin' Up supplies.

OH MY gosh, I super love 'em. I'm already addicted and will be my best customer!!!

I've already decided that I need a light box and a better camera so that I can show you these products. My lil Canon Powershot just IS NOT doing justice to the papers and the bling.

The texture of the cardstock is so nice. It makes an awesome card look even more fabulous. The rhinestones look like real diamonds. WOW.

Here is a card I made.....

I used SU rhinestones on the butterflies. I popped up the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Early Expresso. Inside I used whisper white cardstock.

Christian Note Card Set

My MIL is a care leader in our church. She asked for a set of Christian themed note cards. Here they are...

The stamps are an assorted collection that I got at Michaels. The ink is Stazon in purple. The paper is Recollection kraft, Creme and Jillibean soup. I cut the label with rejoice on it from a Sizzix tag die. I blinged with some things from my stash and my iRock.

My MIL and I were both pleased with these cards. I'm going to do some more. I love the CAS look and these stamps.

Christmas Cards ~ a start ;0)

In true Chick-n-Scrap CAS style, I've started on some Christmas cards. Here's a cute lil set.

All stamps are Studio G. These are all A2 sized with a Recollections Kraft base. I stamped images using Stazon Black.I colored with copics and prisma markers.

Used a lil glossy accent on the nose and hat.

Used a lil glossy accent on the antlers and some white gel pen to highlight. Red stickled the nose.

Halloween Treat Sticks and Container from Mason Jar

I've have been wanting to make some cute lil Halloween Treat Sticks. I also wanted to try these super easy and cute Mason Jar containers. I believe I found the "how to" for the jars on a link that I found on TipJunkie.

Keep holding on to your seats because some SU projects are coming SOON! I'm so excited about these Stampin' Up products...I know you'll be on fire when you see the awesome stuff they have and how CHEAP the items are to buy.

I cut these cuties from the Mini Monsters Cart at 3". I'm taking orders on these for treats for Halloween. I've also offered them as Birthday part treats (just gotta change the toppers).

Small Tutorial on Mason Jar Containers.

Start with any jars. One of these is an empty pickle jar ;0) Clean 'em up.

Spray outside of jar with Valspar Frosting Spray found in the paint aisle with the other spray paints. A light coat will do. It's REALLY easy and dries within a few minutes. I like it when I can keep on and do not have to wait for something to set up or dry :0P

After the jar dries, decorate any way you want. I cut this vinyl decor from Mini Monsters at 2".

Looks GREAT when paired with the treat sticks. I'm gonna send my lil ones treat sticks in a similar container as a keep sake gift for the teacher ;0)

Here's a pic with a tea light candle inside. I've also thought about making my own candle stuff and filling the jar then decorating. Hmmm, food for thought. I plan on making a lot of these as Christmas gifts.
